Three Days Adventure Trip

Itinerary

First Adventures, Canyon Swing and Via Ferrata - pure adrenaline

Flying like an eagle, swinging through a glacier gorge and standing on a rock face - this three-day tour is all about thrills and adrenaline. Perfect for anyone looking for adventurous activities.

Day 1: Grindelwald First – Top of Adventures

Your journey begins in Grindelwald, where the First Cableway takes you to Grindelwald First in just under half an hour. Once you arrive at the mountain station, the first adventure awaits you already - the First Cliff Walk. The Cliff Walk is a circular summit trail at lofty heights. A suspension bridge leads along the rock face of the summit to a viewing platform that goes out 45 metres into the void and offers a view of the unique scenery.

Continue with the First Flyer, a flying fox variant that guarantees boundless freedom and high speed. Optimally secured, you race down the 800-metre-long steel cable from First to Schreckfeld. The First Glider is already waiting for you there. The First Glider is an eagle that allows up to four passengers to soar through the mountain landscape at high speed. First, it is pulled up backwards from Schreckfeld to First and flies back down again at speeds of up to 83 km/h.

If you want even more action, you can continue on fast wheels. The First Mountain Cart takes you on a high-speed ride along the three-kilometre natural road from Schreckfeld to Bort. The fourth highlight of the Grindelwald First adventure package awaits you in Bort. The scooter bike takes you past flower meadows and farmhouses back to the valley station of the First cable car.

Day 2: Canyon Swing & Glacier Gorge Grindelwald

The second day starts quietly with a leisurely walk through the glacier gorge in Grindelwald. An accessible footbridge leads you through a 1 km long gorge with rock galleries and several tunnels, where you can marvel at 300-metre-high rock faces - an impressive natural spectacle. Listen to the roaring waters of the Lütschine, feel the refreshing wind and marvel at the different light conditions in the gorge. Along the way, you will learn exciting and surprising facts about geology, glaciers, water and mysticism. A real highlight is the 170 square metre “spider's web”. The walk-through construction spanning the gorge offers spectacular views and thrills as you balance on the web.

An adrenalin-fuelled adventure awaits you in the middle of the imposing glacier gorge and surrounded by mighty rock faces. Canyon Swing is the name of this unforgettable adventure. Do you have the courage to jump from a platform 90 metres above the ground into the abyss? The view into the depths of the canyon at the jump site is frightening, impressive and overwhelming at the same time - a rollercoaster of emotions. Prove your courage and get the ultimate adrenaline rush. After your jump, enjoy 90 metres of free fall and then swing through the narrow glacier gorge at speeds of up to 120 km/h. An incredible feeling of happiness flows through your body as you climb out of the gorge via a short ladder, your knees trembling with relief. Experience the spectacular Canyon Swing in Grindelwald: a gorge, a rope, a lot of courage and a huge charge of adrenalin.

Day 3: Conquer steep rock faces on the Via Ferrata in Mürren

The last day of your adventure starts in Mürren - a charming and car-free mountain village in the Jungfrau Region. Mürren lies at the foot of the Schilthorn and around this tranquil village you can expect excellent hiking opportunities, impressive views and plenty of action - for example on the Via Ferrata. What's special: the Via Ferrata leads from Mürren down to Gimmelwald, normally they go up. The spectacular view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is included.

You will meet your mountain guide at the Intersport sports shop, who will equip you with the technical equipment. You will then be given a safety briefing on the Via Ferrata technique.

Now it's time to start. The start is easy, but you will soon have the sensationally impressive Mürrenfluh under your feet. Not for the faint-hearted! Past the base jump platform, the Tyrolienne awaits you as you float directly over the Mürrenbach stream to the other side of the rock face. Finally, you cross the suspension bridge over the gorge and descend about 400 metres below you... Done! After 2.2 kilometres of Via Ferrata, you will reach the small mountain village of Gimmelwald in around 3 hours.

Before heading back to Mürren or down into the valley, we recommend you take a walk through the tranquil village of Gimmelwald. The beer garden of the Hotel Pension offers a fantastic view and invites you to linger and enjoy.
