Gspaltenhornhütte SAC
The jagged peaks and towers of the Gspaltenhorn, Kamel and Roti Zend are renowned far and wide. At the foot of these imposing cliffs, deep in the Kiental valley, on a narrow rocky outcrop high above the Gamchi Glacier, lies the alpine and summer hut, which was modernised in 2014. As well as mountaineering, crossings to neighbouring huts and valleys (Sefinenfurgga, Hohtürli, Gamchilücke) are popular. The hut is one of 18 manned SAC lodgings within the UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its 60 beds, the Gspaltenhorn Hut welcomes visitors of all ages.
